Future Ventures is hiring a partner track associate

We're seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Partner-Track Associate. We will only consider individuals who have current or former venture capital experience and technical education backgrounds. The role is in-person, in the SF Bay Area - please only apply if you are already located in the Bay Area or willing to relocate. Candidates seeking remote or hybrid positions will not be considered. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our investment team and portfolio companies, gaining valuable experience in venture capital and technology investing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, attending industry events, and networking with entrepreneurs and other investors.
• Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on potential investments, including market sizing, competitive landscape, and financial modeling.
• Investment Recommendations: Present investment recommendations to the investment committee, including a clear thesis and rationale for investment.
• Portfolio Support: Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance and support, including business development, fundraising, and recruitment.
• Internal Operations: Assist in the management of internal operations, including investor relations, fundraising, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., engineering, computer science, biology)
• 2-3 years of experience in venture capital or a related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Passion for technology and entrepreneurship, with a strong interest in emerging technologies and hard tech industries
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
